Thea has lived in Minnesota, Florida, Texas and Illinois. She has settled in the Midwest and now lives in Elburn, with her husband Pete and their three children. Her major in college was business, but found work in retail and the financial industry, until joining Christ Community. Thea joined the staff in 2005, working in International Impact. She has been on mission trips to Brazil, Czech Republic and New Orleans, and loves seeing what God is doing around the world.
Proudly growing up in Little Rhody (Rhode Island), moving cross-country to Illinois, military training in Oklahoma, teaching in Haiti and back to Illinois, Dave landed in St. Charles in 2009. With a BA in Elementary Education and an MA in Intercultural Studies to boot, he's worn a lot of hats in his travels.
In his free time, Dave cherishes time spent with his wife and son. Beyond that he's usually up for just about anything, but particularly enjoys experiencing cultures, cooking and cool colors. And yes, he's quirky like that. . .
Drew started attending Christ Community Church in 2005 with her family while she was attending high school. She graduated with a BA in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2012. She is active in the 20s community here at Christ Community and enjoys fostering community with those around her. In her free time, Drew is usually found at a local gym where she is a certified kettlebell coach, outside walking in nature with her adorable dashchund, Maddox, stringing up her hammock at a local park, or planning a hiking trip to somewhere mountainous.
Stephen’s passion is to see people grow and change from the inside out, through the ministry of the Holy Spirit. To that end, he aggressively pursued undergraduate work and various certifications in counseling, graduate education in theology, and a PhD in Christian Counseling to most effectively serve God’s people who are hurting.
Stephen’s favorite superhero is the Batman. This is evident from everything from his coffee mugs to his office decor. He and his wife Anne have been married for more than 10 years. Together, they have a beautiful daughter.
Eric is passionate about reaching the nations for Jesus. In 1994, Eric and his wife Carol traveled to Nigeria on their first short-term mission trip. This experience led to full-time international ministry in 1996.
Eric graduated from Valparaiso University and currently lives in Sycamore, IL. Hunting and fishing are favorite hobbies.
Mike received his Bachelor of Science in Education from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri. Mike completed graduate work at the University of Northern Iowa and Drake University, and earned a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Moody Theological Seminary.

He has been married for 25 years and has a teenage son.
Eric loves to help people meet, know and serve Jesus. After graduating from Moody Bible Institute and Wheaton College, he has been serving in ministry as a: youth pastor; denominational youth leader; church leadership trainer and writer; and campus pastor.
Eric is married for over thirty years to his middle-school sweetheart, Denise. They both love trips to the city, sports and long walks together. They have two adult children.
Eric is humbled and thrilled to be serving Jesus at Christ Community Church with the wonderful staff and volunteer teams.
Ann grew up in Southern California, has lived in Washington and Arizona. She and her husband, Rob have been settled in St. Charles for the past 20 years. She has two adult sons that live out west. Ann has been on a number of mission trips to Bangladesh and, with Rob, to Nicaragua. They love to be a part of what God is doing around the world.
Kristin and her husband, Dan, are native Midwesterners. She's recruited and organized people since she was a kid, so connecting people to Jesus and one another through membership, serving, and our zones strategy is a natural fit.
She enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, world music, and cake with lots of frosting.
